Jeff serves as Director of Social Media and Technology at PerkettPR and is responsible for driving the strategy, direction and execution of social media programs for clients and PerkettPR's own new media efforts. Jeff also serves as the guru behind PerkettPR's Social Media Workshop offering and spends the majority of his time educating team members and clients on current social media concepts and tools, as well as crafting custom social media packages for clients who are ready to begin executing on new media initiatives. In addition, Jeff is responsible for producing blogs, podcasts and videos for PerkettPR and client's who want to add additional multimedia components to their website. He also assists clients and team members with viral campaign execution and research including identifying relevant new sources of opportunity in the social media space. Jeff also attends social media events and blog conferences to stay up to date on the latest advances and further aid clients looking to expand on their exposure in new media world. Jeff is a wealth of information to the PerkettPR team and continually educates team members and clients on changes and trends impacting the social media landscape.

Prior to PerkettPR, Jeff served for 15 years in different IT and new media capacities including positions with United Healthcare, Salesnet, and RightNow Technologies. Over the years he has filled many technical roles such as Senior Web Developer, Project Manager, IT Manager and Manager of Data Center Operations. Jeff's technical background allows him to take a PerkettPR client's new media education to the next level by offering insight on the technology investments needed to get started with social media and multimedia initiatives.

Jeff's passion and enthusiasm for social media and technology extends to his personal life where he created the first ever podcast for diecast car collectors and produces freelance videos for friends and family, including an amateur commercial he shot for Jada Toys that took Grand Prize at the company's 1st Annual Film contest. Much of the video and audio that appears on the PerkettPR blog is created and produced by Jeff.

Jeff holds a B.S. in Information Systems from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York.

He is based in Boston.
